TGC 118 Advertisement, Notification PDF, Eligible Branches and Cut Off

Indian Army invites application form Male (Married/Unmarried) for 118th TGC (Technical Graduate Course). The course will commence in the month of January 2014 in the prestigious IMA (Indian Military Academy).

TGC is a technical entry for engineering graduates who completed their degree or currently studying in Final year of their graduation on selection candidates are enrolled in permanent commission in Indian Army. University from which Candidate has completed or pursuing graduation must be a recognized university. TGC 118 SSB Interview will take place from Sept / Oct 2013 onwards.

Age Limit

Engineering Graduates: 20 to 27 yrs (Born between 02 Jan 87 and 01 Jan 94).

AEC: 23 to 27 yrs (Born between 02 Jan 87 and 01 Jan 91).

How To Apply

First of all candidates are required to apply online by Clicking Here (Keep Your educational records ready)

After successful submission of application a Roll No. will be generated which is confirmation that your online application is accepted.

Take 2 print out of that application.

One copy is to be kept for the purpose of SSB Interview.

Other copy Should be mailed after signing at appropriate place and affixed photograph attested by Gazzetted Officer there on and attested copies of 10th Class Certificate, 12th Class certificate along with Degree/Provisional Degree of B.E/B.Tech or mark sheets of eight semesters of B. E/B.Tech in case of TGC candidates, and along with MA/M.Sc degree/ provisional degree and mark sheets of MA/ M.Sc of all years/semesters in case of AEC candidates. These Documents must be sent along with the application to the following address.

Candidates are required to super scribe the envelope with “Online application for TGC – 118 and
the Roll No………….” or ” Online Application for AEC and the Roll No ………” as
the case may be.

Permanent Body Tattoos

Permanent Body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearm i.e. form inside of the elbow to wrist and on the reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side of hands. Permanent body on any other part of body is not acceptable and candidate will be barred from further selection. However Tribes with tattoos on face will be acceptable depending on person to person.

Cut Off Percentage TGC 118

Indian Army may fix a cut off percentage for short listing candidates for SSB Interview. In TGC 117 cut off percentage was 63% up to 6th semester for candidates in final year and for those who completed their degree are also required 63% overall percentage. Only candidates scoring the required minimum cut off will be called for Interview. TGC 118 SSB Interview Dates will be declared after short listing of candidates.
