What does CV Stand for?

A resume is a French term which means extract or summary of relevant job experience and educational qualification. The relevant here means relevant to the position for which you are applying for.

What is Biodata?

Biodata stands for biographical data. As the name suggests it contains personal information (Such as date of birth, nationality etc.), educational background, occupational history, skills, interests, and hobbies.

Apart for employment purposes, biodata is also used for marriage purpose in few Asian countries. A biodata can be used as a supplementary document to a resume or a CV.
